COVID-19 Information Update

With the recent developments in the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to reach out to you with regards to our action plan here at Villa San Michele and how it affects your stay with us.

We have always taken great pride in maintaining an extremely high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Extra measures have been taken in the cleaning and disinfecting of our public areas and guest apartments.

These measures include, but are not limited to increased frequency of cleaning of hand rails in public areas, poolside BBQ and lounge area and public bathroom facilities. Additional apartment cleaning includes hospital grade disinfecting of high-touch areas.

All rooms will be provided with disinfectant during your stay to maintain healthy surfaces.

In addition to these measures you will be provided the option of replacing your own towels/linen if you prefer for a housekeeper to not enter your room. If a housekeeping service is required we ask you to vacate the room whilst the service is being provided.

Port Douglas is business as usual with tours, restaurants, cafes and shops currently operating as normal. There are a few schedule changes, however, in general Port Douglas remains a calm and serene escape from this pandemic.

We have two supermarkets within Port Douglas that are well stocked and another just 20 minutes drive north. To date the only supply issues within the supermarkets relate to toilet paper which thankfully is not a concern for our guests as this is provided in your stay!
